New Lives for Old
Wayne Watson - Milk & Honey

As you listen to the words and music of this album, you get the feeling that Wayne Watson desires New Lives for Old. Co-produced with Brian Tankersley, this album presents Watson as the true talent that he is - producer, vocalist, writer and musician.

Each song is unique in its own right. "All the King's Men" and "In Those Eyes" are typical of the style Wayne does so well. The contemporary ballads tell the redemptive story and encourage believers to go on. The title song, one of the tightest sounding tracks on the album, is a prime example of this style.

"The Sacrifice" is a mysterious tune with flute and guitar. Flowing harmonically, it beautifully tells the story of the crucifixion. "Take All of Me" and "Never Give Up," songs of dedication and encouragement, are well written and arranged. There are no distracting background tracks here, so that the message is flowing and clear.

New Lives for Old offers easy listening sounds, yet the lyrics are deep with meaning. Watson serves God well with his music of testimony and praise.
