The first Alistair MacLean book I read was Breakheart Pass, in the late 1970's. I enjoyed the book so much that I started looking for other Alistair MacLean books. Since then I have tried to obtain all of MacLean's books and have read about 2/3's of them. Two of my favorite books that I have read are Golden Rendezvous and San Andreas. The suspense and realizm is why I like these books. A quote from Crime and Mystery Writers sums up Alistair Maclean Books, "Each Maclean novel delivers adventure that is fast and physical.
